Vietnam National Fine Arts Museum is to research, collect, display, preserve and introduce the country’s artistic heritage to the Vietnamese people as well as international visitors. Vietnam Military History Museum, which is the leading museum in the military museum system, is currently displaying and storing nearly 16,000 artifacts, including many precious artifacts, especially 4 national treasures (MiG21 aircraft number 5121 and T54B tank number 843, Map of determination Ho Chi Minh campaign, MiG21 aircraft number 4324). On the campus of the Museum, there are relics of the Hanoi Flagpole.  This is a unique ancient architectural monument, which has been ranked a national historical architectural monument in 1990.

The museum was divided into 3 zones: The first zone talked about our army from the time of Hung Kings until Ngo Quyen defeated the Nam Han army on the Bach Dang River in 938. The middle area had the statue of President Ho Chi Minh and images of the war against France (1858-1945). The last area talks about the fighting from the Ly to the Nguyen age.

Hanoi Ceramic Museum – Kim Lan Museum

The Kim Lan Museum now displays about 300 artifacts, including many architectural materials, architectural decorations, coins and special ceramics, Giang Tay Quan bricks – bricks used to build Dai La citadel. It also displays new village products and models of kilns such as gourd ovens and vertical kilns. All of them give a monument a formal and sacred beauty that is still close to everyday life.
